well that sim certainly showed the difference between the top of the Bock and the top of the Porter.

      Pawtucket 3-3.

6 game road trip so no complaints about the outcome. Nice to see we still can hit (Boyce continues his crazy run) another positive was Tom Vaccarella with an 8 inning gem in his return game against Maine!! 13-14 months ago it looked bleak, but think he's going to be ok.

Sad to see how poorly we are pitching overall. Derrek Tucker makes his return in a few weeks, but this might be our team identity for the season. Right now, just dealing with it.

Kept our 6 game lead. Just be nice to take control of this at some point.

5-2, but thanks SIM GODS for the injuries.

I really didn't want to catch California anyway.

Frustrating season continues. We're quickly reaching a deficit that will be too much to overcome. 3 of our offensive weapons are the wrong type of offensive so far. Alvarez, Watts and Jenkin are just not contributing anything. They are so far beneath their career norms it's not even funny. In fact it makes me cry.

I have pitching available next sim. Some nice injury replacement options. Several cheap sub 4.00 and sub 3.00 ERAs. Johnny Davis can hit HRs.

I feel your pain, but in opposite fashion.

After being #1 virtually all of 2002 with starters ERA currently my starters are only better then Hartford & Denver. Also, all are games are basically lost in innings 4-6 and in spectacular fashion. The irony?.....we lead the DL in shutouts.

3-3 we were swept by Pat and we swept Morgantown.

Manny Villafane was brought up after much discussion in the Wilmington ranks. He responded with 5 hits and 4 walks in his first week. Blue Wave infield is pretty good on paper from a season ago and should translate into a few wins.

Our pitching is ghastly. Our defense has never been as bad as it is this year! I feel almost giddy to have only 3 errors this week and honestly, that is horrible. 53 errors already this year?!? This is the worst defensive team in the league? I wish I knew who to fire...because they are gone when I figure it out.

A nice crop of ROY candidates this season in the DL.
