Oh, wait. I did something wrong. D Turner went down for 14 months after just 14 pitches. That's a misapplication of the "Injure Now" button.

          Finally some baseball being played!

I'll take a 3-3 start to the year but Gill and Buck going down a month each hurts. Stupid Denver picking off Chet Walton from waivers a couple weeks back, we need that depth now.

Pawtucket 4-2. Beats the 1-5, everyone gets hurt start of last season.

            One bitch:

So with Pawtucket clinging to a one run lead (2-1) in the 7th does the manager chose a VERY rested Angelo Gonzales to setup the 7th & 8th for Rivera? NOPE. Mop up/ spot start Oscar Vasquez gets the rock and folds under pressure. Final 9-2.

Moves like that get you fired pal!

Damn....and I thought last years draft class sucked.

We did about what I expected. Little under .500 Not close to Washington's league.
We're gonna still have more growing pains this year
BUT....2-1 in one run games lol.

Still can't hit, Rojas is finding that out. Bobby Corall played well though. Division games this week, that's what matters.

Not the way we envisioned starting, especially losing 2 of 3 to Carlos.

But it's a long season. I just hope it's not going to be a long season.

And you see what Welton did over the week?

I'm gonna get excited and make myself believe this is possible all the time!

2-4. We took two of three from Syracuse. Jon "He's done" Robinson beat Jody "No bounce in that step" Richards in the opener 2-0. The fans in Syracuse didn't even sigh or complain. They simply lowered their heads in shame and exited the stadium.

Then we traveled to Dallas and had our souls ripped from us. Jamie Benge pitched as if he never made an appearance last season. Citizens of Dallas are actually looking for Benge's whereabouts because it doesn't look like he showed up to his first start.

Rex "Good" Knight played like someone his age. I hear he's hanging out with Pedro Zamarida after games getting wasted on Negronis.

Whack Wells isn't hacking it anymore. But we still love that guy. He signed with us when no one else was offering him a dime. It takes that kind of commitment to lose in Denver.

Once a-mother-fucking-gain Tommy Potter pitched a strong game and walks away with an L. He couldn't even win a game in ST.

This must be what it feels like to have your wife cheat on you. You throw a good game, commit yourself to a solid performance, only to get fucked in the end. I'm just hoping Potter doesn't figure out where the closest ledge is.

Mueller was good. Bankston gave up a few more runs than we would like but he won and K'ed 9 over 5 innings. He throws fastballs and people miss.

Would you look at that. Someone is actually trying to dethrone Tony Perez as the best player in Denver. (By the way, Perez picked up a save in both wins and barely sweated). TDB (yeah that's what we are calling Tyler D now. Bask in its originality) hit over .300, played better than everyone wearing a Bulls uniform, and just looked like he gave an actual shit about his performance. Thanks for maybe finally showing up!

Our defensive middle infield likely couldn't hit off a tee. Someone should attach a glove to their bats.

                    Oh and Chet Walton!
