What team will improve the most?
I'm going to go with Batavia. I think Matt has stockpiled tons of talent and this is the year they start to break through. If a couple of these mid-20's guys blow up, it could push them into the playoffs a year ahead of schedule. Especially if Bmore, Cali, or Philly struggle or are racked by injuries... oh wait...
What team will dissappoint?
I say it's Los Alamos. I think their starters start to show their age and it slows them down. The division isn't very good, but I think WC is the team to beat there.
Who's really bad?
Me. Players will be shipped out as needed to feed the farm.
Whats do you think about your own team?

What team will improve the most?
I just can't see anyone touching Windy City as explained in the BOCK preview. Might see a surge from Pittsburgh if Maine nosedives.
What team will dissappoint?
I say it's California. Oh, I think they will win more games then they lose. Its just all that offensive talent to go along with no pitching might end up missing the playoffs for the second year in a row. When you consider that $103,783,610 payroll I'd say anything less then a playoff is a failure.
Who's really bad?
Got a couple here: Denver, Davenport the usual suspects plus new additions Dallas & the "semi expansion" Death Valley teams into the mix. Picks #1-#4 will be very competitive for the 2004 draft. (I'll root for poor Carlos since he missed out on a few tip 5's)
Whats do you think about your own team?
Hmmm, well we added a pretty good pitcher this offseason. I think last season we played over our heads though the first half.
Pitching - While our hitting kept improving our starting pitchers fell off bad the final 6 weeks. Helps to have some of our defensive kids back healthy. Tucker & Gerald(ratings bump) make a nice 1-2 punch on top. Wildcard is Tom Vacerrela coming back by June. He took some hits, but like when Ocampo got hurt in 93 didn't appear to lose a ton. If this kid plays nearly the way I thought he was going to we have a nice 1-5 rotation. No more rotation the closer role either. Its Rivera's now with Aguilar & Gonzales rounding out the set-up role.
Offense- . Full year of Lucca, let the young kids continue to grow (Boyce, Tammany, Quinn) and hope Jon Montalvo adds in some much needed power to compete with the brutes from the Ale.
Overall we feel good. Lets see if we repeat last season 1-5 start.Last edited by funclown; 09-03-2013, 08:49 PM.PAWTUCKET PATRIOTS

I'll satisfy your ego, clown. Behold.
What team will improve the most?
I think if you factor in last year performance rather than just look at expectations, Baltimore figures to improve upon last year.
What team will disappoint?
Having said that, I don't think that improvement will be enough to make the post season. Delandis can build on the success of the season but he's gonna fall just a bit short.
Who's really bad?
Denver is really bad because they can and will likely lose 90+ games. Davenport is still waiting on kids. Pittsburgh's youth movement isn't ready yet. Obviously Death Valley is trying to lose. And on the bold statement territory, I think New Orleans and Indianapolis end up where they least expect.
Whats do you think about your own team?
My team is gonna be worse off because it won't have the three veteran starters that kept the squad competitive at times.
It's a lot of inexperience in the rotation and lots of hitters that should be platooning or simply provide depth, taking starters roles.
But I do think we will be tougher to beat this season.
What if c.a.t really spells dog?
Oh, Davey.
