Thrilled to get a catcher who hit 22 HR's in only 200 something at bats, OPS+ of 140 and an 8 for Defense for only a little over 2 mil per year. Not quite sure why he's out there, but thank you! He'll be a great backup for us.

I wouldn't put any stock in it, at all. The utility predictions seem to be a little bit more based in reality (if there is such a thing in a SIM baseball universe). My guess? The HTML predictions are based more around the data you might find in the Offseason Summary area in game. I think it's penalizing you for having the "worst" offseason as judged by WAR +/-. Just a hunch. The same way Windy City is propped up in that same report based on their "best" offseason by the same measure.
