The utility is dumb. It has Washington predicted for 100 wins. If I don't win 120+ this year I'll be surprised. Oh god. I'm starting to sound like Clay.

In Bats News, I landed the other Windy City FA MIF Jerry Davis. I think he could have a big year. 60 doubles?

I don't fully agree with this. Last year the utility predicted a last place finish for LA. We won 90+ games the year before.

It's still predicting you to win it all. But the IL has a lot of improved teams and you will feel that in your win totals.

Pat believes without Clay he will just ransack the IL. I'm not so sure about that. The Porter is very, very good right now. And quietly, Morgantown and Wilmington will greatly benefit from VA's demise. Their team morale will not tank as quickly and you should see a much better showing from them as well.

He's always been a villain in training. Now he's ready to take that next step.

And I like that I have him. I think he works okay in my park and the value is good. It probably doesn't make sense since I want to trot young starters out there but I also don't expect to have a full rotation of guys for another two seasons. At that point Robinson becomes a team option decision.

And considering how often top prospects flame out, I could be thanking 2003 Carlos in 2005 when Jake, Jim and Ryan are kissing my ass.

The latter part of this post is 100% fallacy.

I really wanted Robinson, unfortunately with my budget, I could only offer him 2.5 a year. Good get for you.
