That sort of thing takes effort.

There's no way, even if I don't trade 3 of my next top 5 guys, that we win 83 games. No fucking way.

According to the utility, I pickup Kelch, Leyva, and Big Al and DVS loses Daly, Pancho, and Chavez and they will STILL win the same # of games as us.

My GOD. There is a LOT of talent in Batavia's minor league system. Thank goodness there are only 9 players on the field at once.

We signed Jonathan Robinson at a bargain of his asking price (to play in Denver, right Pat!).

And I like that I have him. I think he works okay in my park and the value is good. It probably doesn't make sense since I want to trot young starters out there but I also don't expect to have a full rotation of guys for another two seasons. At that point Robinson becomes a team option decision.

And considering how often top prospects flame out, I could be thanking 2003 Carlos in 2005 when Jake, Jim and Ryan are kissing my ass.

The latter part of this post is 100% fallacy.

Yeah, he sucks. Nestor Aguilar is a real lefty so wont be missing him. At the time though, we needed to get the ball rolling again and he landed a fat contract.

                            I hope he dies.

Pawtucket got our backup high OBP catcher.

Really excited about this spring training. Have some really cool competition going on this spring:

#5/ #6 Starter. (1-4 of probably locked) Will go 75% with a 5 man staff, so Ruben Aparicio, Ed Kisselburg, Oscar Vasquez and hopefully July Tom Vaccarella will be competing for what amounts to be 1.25 spots in the rotation. Dave Duvall has plenty of time to work somethings out in AAA.

Middle bullpen 2-4. Closer, Setup all set. #1 MR bullpen goes to Ole Mens so Ron Mitchell, Curt Kelley, Colm Chambers, Ming-yu Mei, David Castro fight for the other spots. Usually like to keep two lefties here, but with options left on several guys here might do some shuttling based on matchups.

Who's are backups in the OF. Starters are set which included defensive wiz kid CF Troy Stucker who's really missed when absent. This leaves RF Jed Foster, Octavio Valdez & Ron Adams fight it out for the two remaining spots. No clue who's going to win it here.

Starters in general seem set, but going to investigate why Ron Lombard is the #8th best 3B according to ranked by position list? Worst case, he sees more at bats. C-Huerta will of course see some at bats against righties and make the pitchers work a little.

Lets just get to spring training!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
