    I think Rule 5 is gayer than Wales, but I will be a good servant and go with the flow.

        Have you tried a counter offer for a minor league deal? I know some that wouldnt bite, but swear I've gotten some to day "Ok thats a fair offer"

          I also think if we got rid of Rule 5 we could trim Offseason 2 and 3 from the schedule. Unlike prior versions OOTP 12 lets you make arbitration decisions as soon as the season ends. Not sure what purpose Offseason 2 serves other than giving people a second chance to protect rule 5 players.

            Good call, it does seem like some will accept a minor league deal as a counter offer.
