Trades and when they can be processed are a bit more up in the air. In the past Clay would only process once we reached a certain point of the off/pre-season, but in recent seasons he was more open to completing trades at an earlier time than he traditionally had in the past.

I think the issue that could come up is no one is owed anymore money.

It would be extremely unfair if someone traded a star player heading to free agency to a team with salary space.

Yep, totally get that aspect of it. When it comes to trades, I was thinking more about the time of the year when the new league year would roll over, but trades would be held off until a certain point.

It's after the meat of FA. Hamstrung for a long time when I was in the 30m's.
