Boy am I glad I called that guy...
On February 7th, 2B Robby Bowen signed a two-year, $8M deal with the New York Knights. After struggling all season, he was released on July 22nd. On August 13th, the Washington Bats signed him for the rest of the year for $475K. In Game 1 of the ILDS, Bowen went 1/3, RBI and BB in the 1-0 win. In Game 4, 3/4 with 2 RBI in the 3-2 win. In Game 5, 2/3 with an RBI and a R in the 3-2 win.
After getting no offers in Free-Agency, the Bats signed 3B Joe Dominguez to a one-year $850K deal on June 11th. In 58 games, he hit .360 with a 1.001 OPS for Washington. In Game 1, 1/3 with a BB. In Game 3, 1/1 with a 3B and R. In Game 4, 2/4 with a 2B and a R. In Game 5, 1/3.
For just over $1M, two scrap heap FAs, Bowen and Dominguez, were two of my biggest contributors.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
Washington Bats - 1979-2013
