SIM COMPLETE - 2002 - SIM 26

Just noticed we posted a 3.17 ERA for the year, our lowest team total in club history. After the way the bullpen started out the season that's quite shocking.

Pawtucket 3.28. Also our franchise record. Use to think it was impossible to pitch in my park.

Tyler Gerald was built for our staduim. Tom Vacerrella was also......until his arm fell off

Hoping for an "Ironfirst" like recovery.

Well 3-3 to finish up the season. Stroop and Caceda did well in the September call up so they'll get a shot next season, especially since I pissed Maydocks off in negotiating his extension. He can take his butt and peddle it elsewhere and see how he does after his "great" last two seasons. Looking forward to the draft, since that is about all we have to look forward to for the moment.

Safe to say we wont be renewing the contract of Manager Mezian Nyamekye or his right hand man Bill Gentry.

He managed the Javelinas for 12 seasons with an overall record of 976-968 and qualified for the playoffs 6 times reaching the Brewmasters in 2001.

Gentry served on Nyamekye's staff as Bench coach for 6 seasons. Haven't ruled out the possibility of Gentry taking a coaching role in the minors but he will not return on the BLB squad.

Current hitting coach and long time skipper of the Maine Guides, John O'Kerrigan, will be the first to receive an interview to be the new Manager.

To be clear, my playoff roster needs to be at 25, but my active roster is fine to stay at 27, correct?

Ok, my first playoffs in this version. Old version you just used anyone on your 40 man roster who played on your team during the season.

I take it we were suppose to "add people" Sept 1st??? Even though I expanded to think 28-29 players says "ineligible (injury replacement), blah, blah, blah"

Am i missing somthing? If not guess 24 players it is. Just trying to replace Ole Mens.

Advice???

I think they have to be on your roster or DL anytime before rosters expand.

I believe they have to be up before or on September 1st. Sucks that day you add depth to the roster is the day after guys have to be up.
