    Pawtucket 2-4.

Ok OOTP gods, whats up with all these injuries suddenly???

Bullpen was truly a let down this week. Quick check shows 4 blown games including losing two in the 9th. Also, need to hold on when your up 7-2 and finish the team off.

Was hoping for 3-3 overall knowing how tough Wash is at home, but we move on. We hit well, but again bullpen sucked!!! Actually gained 2 games in the standings??

See how the "DH" week goes. Tyler Tammany will be playing a bit more CF for the rest of the season. He's been getting some practice there anyway and plays there well.

Career reliever/setup man Abayghur Tulun took a test drive in the starting rotation versus Windy City and looked good!

Tulun went 8 strong innings, allowing 6 hits and 1 earned run while striking out 11. We ended up losing the game 4-3 but I think I'm going to stick Tulun in the rotation for the remaining of the year to see if he should make the permanent change for next year.

On the lighter side of sports:

MR Ole Mens was injured when he ran into a deer on the expressway. The Diagnosis: back soreness. He's expected to miss about 2 weeks.

All we have now is Tony Perez saving games and DeBenedetti possibly turning the corner finally.

The rest can be launched into orbit.

I hated the inter league idea from the beginning, and hate it more now. I wish we could get rid of all these games. The rest is fine.

I'll repeat this from time to time:

MR Ole Mens was injured when he ran into a deer on the expressway. The Diagnosis: back soreness. He's expected to miss about 2 weeks.

                        That is all.

Inter league just went from 12 to 36...isn't that what MLB plays?

I like playing every team in the league once, it gets our frequent flyer miles up.

Well lets not copy MLB to much. Ever since the steroid era ended baseball has become a very boring sport.
