Pawtucket - Code 111 Error - Research says it has something to do with the minors. Not sure what causes it. Might want to consider re-grabbing the league file before you export for this SIM.

LOL, SO THATS WHY SIMMONS IS HURT!!!

I sent the export thru the first time and got an error. Went thru the second time, but my wireless connection was probably horseshit. I'll see how it downloads when I get home. Worst case, just manually grab the league file.

    Pawtucket 3-3.

As stated, Simmons got hurt after game two this week. Makes us a bit more vulnerbale to lefty pitching in the middle of the linup. Possible blessing in disguise as he probably can use the rest. Could possibly limp along with Javara at 3rd and give Jon Montalvo a look in the BLB OR bring the old vet Kip Higgins up and play really good defense?????

I'll have to think about it.

        1-5.

We lost some close games that we could have pulled out a win but this year's team isn't capable of that.

William Petrie is now gone for 7 weeks due to injury which is a disappointment seeing as how I wanted to get a good look at him before next season. He will still be our starting 3B next year after a full recovery.

Deleon is having another down year like he had in 2000. Wonder if he needs to catch a few games to realize how easy he has it now that he's a full-time DH.

Ok here's the plan. We are going to wait until we are COMPLETELY out of it, then we"ll begin to play well to f up our draft position as well.

Sounds like a great plan, right?

Well least next two weeks should be fun watching the Stout vs the Ale.

I haven't seen a Stout team since the 91 Brewmaster. Last interleague was 1990. Mwetts finally gets to play his sister team! As for Pawtucket, won't have one of our best players for it, but should fun facing two 79 win teams.(least interesting)

5-2 sim but lose two games in the Stout after Virginia goes 7-0. The Stout division is now tied.

In other unfortunate news, the Bats lose 2001 Refreshing New Brew SP Nick Cortes to a partially torn labrum, which will cost him his season. And also OF Shawn Burton, tore his labrum as well and will be released.

In transaction news, the Bats signed veteran 2B Robby Bowen who will basically have a two week audition to see if he is worth keeping on the roster as the starting 2B vs. LHSP. He is currently replacing Pat Wallace. With the injury to Burton, the Bats will call up OF Willie Garcia.

                        Spear is losing control:

Los Lunas Javelinas: 3B William Petrie was injured while throwing a glass at the wall after an argument with his wife. The Diagnosis: strained abdominal muscle. He's expected to miss about 7 weeks.

They've been going through changes. The Petrie family has experienced culture shock moving to the desert from Philadelphia.

6-0 sim with sweeps of Los Lunas and Los Angeles. The team is starting to get momentum as we head into our final round of interleague play. Big three game sets against Los Alamos and Carolina.
