    Pawtucket 6-1

Went with a 6 man rotation to change it up a bit. Guys were getting a bit stale. Nothing else really to say. The matchup just felt good.

Note: Passed our win total from last season. Nice!

6-0, but a heavy price to pay. 3 injuries, 1 significant (4 months to 1B Ramirez). The other 2 are 1-2 week varieties which is manageable. . . as long as there are no setbacks.

Like Brad, good week at 5-1 but a couple significant organizational injuries mean more.

MR Hisashi Tanaka - total stud this year - out 4 months with a torn labrum.

SP Richard Velasquez - SP in A ball we love, and just took a ratings bump - out 8 months with bone chips. Bye bye RIchard Velasquez.

On the BLB level, we do get 3.5 games clear of the WC, but we're not good enough. Need to figure something out.

I know this is looking ahead a bit, but can you play your own division in the first round or does this version not allow it? Or is it simple won/ loss seeding?

No. If the #1 seed and the WC come from the same division, the #1 plays the #3 (Div Winner) and the WC plays the #2 Div Winner.

Saw injuries for Gaxiola and Ron Malone.

                Had a near heart attack.

                4-day variety.

                Relieved.

I feel like your askin that because if I win the WC you would love to see my 1-10 record against you come to town.

Lol, no really. I've been bad for long so I dont know if this version changed the format at all.

Though now looking at it your team is like taking candy from a baby.

You'll be fine. Your punks are just taking some beatings. I'm a nightmare matchup for you right now.

Pawtucket needs to avoid Indy. Not a great playoff history there.

Well just want to get there first. Will say this, its a different team now.

If New Orleans gets in there, they have a history of being even more dangerous.

Playoffs is a complete crapshoot. Take nothing for granted. (Even Pittsburgh)

Wouldn't say its a crapshoot. Teams built for the playoffs win the playoffs. Teams built for the regular season win in the regular season.

Right and New Orleans has some mean top line starters. Never really dominates the regular season. Only the Dinos have his "type" of pitching in the DL.

Pawtucket wins with defense, bullpen and I guess some pretty decent hitting. Not sure how that works yet.

Like I said, this a different Pawtucket team from the 90's.

For better or worse, its totally my team now.

Bummer...we've gone -7 in the past few weeks and it takes us out of any running. We weren't expecting anything this season so I guess it was fun while it lasted.
