    Pawtucket 2-4.

Haven't bitched much this season, but do you think this may be a problem??

    Runs allowed 36
    Earned runs 21

Thats right, 15 UNEARNED RUNS!!! Not going to win alot of weeks with that type of fielding. 3 of our losses had 3 errors in EACH game. Bonehead of the week goes to Simmons with 5 errors including three in one inning???? Nice shooting soldier

    With this defense??? Really????

Glass half full: Least it happened now then in the playoffs

Another SIM and another losing streak.

There really hasn't been much of a good story for us this year. Maybe Fajardo taking over for Crackpot and performing well or Christian Riveria hitting like it's 1999 again.

At least we'll be able to get some looks at our younger players in September when the rosters expand. One player in particular on my radar is Javier Villarreal, who was acquired from Carolina in the Morrow deal and is currently in AAA, interested to see if he can prove that he's ready for a full-time job next year.

Rumour Mill: Ming Er's demands have dropped by $3M per year since being traded to us but still having a tough time getting him at an affordable deal.

          Trade Waivers Procedure
Players not on the 40 Man Roster and draft picks can be traded after the July 31st deadline without having to clear Trade Waivers.

Players on the 40 Man Roster can be traded after the July 31st deadline if they clear Trade Waivers.

To trade players who are on the 40 Man Roster:
          * DO NOT waive the player in the game.
          * For each player, create a new thread in the Waivers forum stating the player has been placed on Trade Waivers.
          * Teams may claim players in his Trade Waiver thread.
          * Players are on waivers for 48 hours (real time) after the thread is created.
          * If no claims are made during that time, they are free to trade him to any team.
          * If any claims are made in the Trade Waiver thread, the waiving team has another 48 hours to negotiate a trade with the team that claimed the player and had the highest priority (Worst record) at that time.
          * If no trade is completed within 48 hours (real time) the waiving team can either revoke the waivers or allow the claim to go through and lose him for nothing.

              Lol, still venting:

Nearly 20% of all our errors for the season came THIS WEEK.

Some of the guys fell of the wagon this week and went on a drinking binge.

              Wow.

The young guns are finally finding their stride with back to back 5-1 sims as we take 2nd place in the Ale and find ourselves only a couple games out of the WC. And Adili is back real soon.

2-pitch B.J. Leary with the CG. 2 runs allowed in his last 3 starts (24 IP).

And some signs of life from Lonnie Johnston. How very interesting....
