Re-signed Cristián Rivera for one more year because he has been a pleasant surprise (which really isn't saying much).

Down on the farm our 1st round pick from this year Fred "Shoeless" Evers has been looking sharp in Single A Socorro. As much as I'm tempted to push him to AA, I don't want to screw with his head. It's only a 40 IP sample size so far.

Was getting a little dinged up here as we neared Allstar break so we really could use the rest. If we can get up enough on the rest of the Ale might start seeing Pawtucket rotating some players here and there with the possibility of occasional 6 man rotations. We've won 107 games once only to be bounced in the DL Championship so don't mind giving up some wins if we are in position to do so.

Im not worried. Besides I'm sort of the mindset "make other players around him better" I recall people bitching about Javara also. Small sample size (Like Jistics dick)

Also helping not having is contract on the books right now.
