I agree sample size is small, but it reminds me of Gil Melgoza. For anyone who remembers him, and my complaints about him, he had something like 6-7 years where he alternated a good year with a mediocre/bad year...it was very bizarre...almost methodical.
That's what this makes me think of...like it's a programming thing. I can understand one, or two guys, having a bad year (see Ureste who falls outside my example of all my pitchers doing well this year) but to have your core pitchers pretty much have a major turnaround over last year, while the offense goes the opposite direction and goes in the tank, seems a little too coincidental. That's why I was curious if anyone else had it happen...to see if it's some sort of issue that occasionally happens with teams.Dallas Snappers

Who knows but I know what you mean by feeling like there game trends you can't control.
Obviously this season we broke a long tend of April's first run at the Ale usually ending at like 2-10/ 3-9 or worse. This explains the Pawtucket slow start each season, that and the huge homestand every September. Could be the new schedule format or we have just designed the team to handle it now?
This is why I enjoy playing this game so much even when I was retooling(well it was a hybrid rebuild/retool) I need to know "why" and the game is maddening trying to explain shit. Lol, I'm still trying to figure out why SP Raulo Gutierrez sucked so bad for us then went to Maine to become a top player again???????Last edited by funclown; 07-16-2013, 08:06 AM.PAWTUCKET PATRIOTS
