Our pitching is finally settling into a grove and we're only 5 games back now from the division leading Dukes. Doesn't look like to be a strong year in the Lager so who knows what could happen, lots of baseball left.

We might hold off on that fire sale that was planned.

In WC .500 sims = victory.

Not sure what to do about Reynaldo 'Stinger' Jimenez? He's our AAA closer. No runs allowed in 24 innings. 38KS and 6 walks. but he's 19. I know INTL guys mature quicker but still. I'm worried about him not having a challenge. I know that can harm development as much as rushing.

Does he want to be in the bigs? If he's OK where he's at, you won't hurt him. If he wants to be in the majors, I'd consider it.

He's still content. I think he's ok. Maybe I'll see in September? It seems that upper echelon closers progress quicker.

Even young closers seem to come in with heavier bars. It also may have something to do with making more appearances in the minors? (Shot in the dark). I agree though.... my closers (who I wish were starters) seem to zip right through the minors.

We went 4-2? There hasn't been this much promise in Colorado since Kobe Bryant left a tip for a young woman at a hotel.

Of course we still suck but we are very good at pitching.

Veteran pitching pick ups continue to dazzle. Parra and Potter are developing very nicely and might become middle rotation arms to compliment the other arms arriving in the future (can't wait to have Ron Malone strutting his stuff in Little Rock).

We now have three pitchers in the Top 100 Prospect List with Gaxiola returning. He is developing nicely out of high school. Dany Melgoza has potential to be nasty.

We can't hit. But I'll spend the money eventually to get hitters. It's no surprise to me that our pitchers performed well AND we won a majority of our games when our three best hitters (Hack, the ageless(?) Rex Knight, and Tommy Keatts) all perform like super heroes over six games.

                It makes things easier.

wow I feel like that is the first time in a decade or maybe ever that we have given "Ironfist" a loss. He still pitched an amazing game striking out 12, but gave up a 3 run shot to Sinclair which was enough to hold on for the win. Sinclair has been a boost to our power so far with 12 HRs, my top player in HRs last year had just 13 for the whole season.

RP Don McNeill will be welcomed back to the big club fresh off an injury rehab at AAA that went fairly well. It's been right at a year since he last pitched for us due to a torn UCL. Our scouting dept still sees him as the same guy he was before the injury, so hopefully that's the case. The BP was a sore spot on the roster during the first month of the season but it's starting to round into shape now with Banos and now McNeill back.

Sinclair had three hits in the entire 3 games series... all 3 were HRs. He won POG in both of your wins. He was beat us on his own when our bats decided to take the week off.

Sinclair. Another Denver prospect who found greener pastures elsewhere.

                        Asshole.

I paid him the money to hit HRs so at least he is doing that so far to start the season.

In regards to your bats...your guys party too much when they come to Morgantown. I seem to have a fighting chance against the Colonials at home since your guys are all hungover from partying on High Street all night long with young WVU coeds.
