It's not often your team pitches to a 2.33 ERA, 1.04 WHIP for the week and still goes 2-4. Can't score runs, but not actually expecting it because there isn't much help in the lineup anyway.

The following starters are in need of a shamrock:

Doug Rich. 7 innings. 9 Ks. 2 runs. (ND)
    Loren Washington. 7 innings. 3 hits. 1 run. (L)
    Edwin Parra. 7 innings. 5 Ks. 1 run. (L)
    Tommy Potter. 8 innings. 4 hits. 3 runs. (L)

    But hey, we can pitch!

      Pawtucket 5-1.

      Spoiler

Some sad news: Orlando Saucido got demoted to AAA this week. Was a little worried about messing with whats working, but looking longterm. He's only 26, but has batted worse each season since coming up. Some AAA at bats in the leadoff spot might do him some good. Just looking for .650OPS so not asking alot. In the meantime AAAA Alejandro Arriaga will take his spot. Not a terrible defensive drop off and looks at more pitches at the bottom of the order.

Ok, we held serve at home. Lets see if we can get Yeandle & Quinn going on the road.

This team really was Cinderella last year with Gyro at the helm. Send your scouts to Los Lunas as there might be a fire sale in a few weeks.

If anything it's a better team on paper! I didn't trade any significant BLB pieces away. Tyler Tammany is having a great season in Pawtucket but I would still make that deal again.

Was hoping to rekindle some 2001 Pig magic by calling on Cavadas but he wont negotiate with us. He'd rather rot in free agency than join our runaway freight train.

We don't play the games on paper... we play them on the field... on a screen... which is like electronic paper.

                  It's the intangibles.

I don't want to tell you your business....

DL Playoff teams.... Pawtucket, Syracuse, Indy and New York Knights.... what do they have in common? All teams willing to trade with Virginia!!!!
