With my $15m scouting budget he wasn't even on my list.

      Awesome job scout!

        Yes.

Was that the Virginia-type guy you referred to?

Went with a straight raw kid out of high school. His work ethic is a concern but hopefully he can grown into what my scout/OSA thinks he can be.

Colonials in with our highest EARNED pick in years....

            WAYNE ADAMS

Quick glance is probably nothing special... a soft hitting 1B on paper... dig a little deeper and I think Adams is a legit 2B prospect with nice speed and defense potential.

            Welcome to Virginia!

Kid can play OF also. People tend to overlook the 1B position. Good pick, thought he'd slip.

I got William Lehnhardt. He is an absolute beast.

If I had a DH I would have picked him.

Like the NO pick. Would have been my pick if Adams were gone.

Yeah with you hoping he gets that third pitch.

Yeah... like Gray, Franco and Bonilla. 0 for 3. Still trying with RJ Manning and others. Those are semi-safe gambles in the low 1st early 2nd. Worst case a good to great reliever. Still dont have the stones to try a two pitch guy in the majors.

I think for him the magic thing is the 8-7 pitches, the 7's across the board on ratings and the 5 stamina.

I see a little Dimmick. I know Dimmick has that third pitch but its a 3.

It's a gamble but I really feel he can do it. That's if OSA and my scout are right. Obviously he could be overrated.

With the second pick in the second round, the Denver Bulls select

SP Vinny Ledbetter out of Florida State University
                                http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...ayer_5797.html

The potential isn't eye-opening, but what we see is a left hander that struck out 370 batters over 300 innings and walked 72. He's a fifth year senior (somehow?) and that extra year definitely pushes his overall numbers to the top, but he's also closer to ready than most guys that will be selected in this round.
