That's what I keep telling people. I don't understand why three GMs have sent me death threats in reply.

New Orleans drafts Vincent Casillas at 1.10. The 5'9" 200-pound Mexican performed well against "great" competition this season. That said, OSA has him rated highly and he is an international prospect, which means he will probably not amount to anything of value.

We look forward to blowing 1.20 in similar fashion later today.

Internationals do scare me. I have no opinion you'll ignore anyway. Wasn't even looking at this guy.

Love Wilmington's pick, I was trying to trade down to snag him at 5. Scout thinks he has an unbelievable bat.

I thought I would get shit for this pick but My scout also likes him. Only thing I did not like was the work ethic.

Los Lunas selects SP Fred Evers from the Arizona State Sun Devils.

I'm disappointed that Manny Villafane didn't fall to me at 17 but Evers is a nice consolation prize. Even though he has 2 pitches, I'm hoping he will develop more pitches like a former draft pick of mine did (Max Claveau).

Evers has God-like potential if he gets the 3rd pitch. If not, he a top-shelf reliever. That's how you draft when you're a contender. It's what's left.

Matt may be sleeping, so the late pickers can probably settle in. All good. Got a nice jump on it un-timed.

Evers is the guy I hoped fell.

I honestly think if he hits his ratings, he's a starter even with two pitches.

                                Yes.
