    NEXT SIM: Thursday

    ***

I'm going to work on the Draft Utility at some point today (getting the order set). You should be able to work on your draft lists anyway. Draft will officially starting in the next 24 hours or so, so the top 3-5 teams should get ready.

Be conscious of the fact that Interleague starts next week, but it's not all week. Make sure you have all your lineups set.

Excited to announce the signing of our new hitting coach John O'Kerrigan.

Fired Alvino Mosena after the team got off to a dreadful start at the plate. O'Kerrigan has more experience and was the long time Manager of the Maine Guides.

We're still sitting the basement of the BLB but Bennerman is back next SIM and will hopefully give us a shot in the arm. Especially with a tough schedule ahead versus Philly and Baltimore.

About time someone felt our pain. Still 2-6 is 1 run games, BUT we're a whopping 3-1 in extra innings. Last year we were 5-21! This is a nice change, unfortunately the starting pitchers aren't too pleased because they aren't getting the decision too often.

Ecstatic to go 5-2 against two IL powers. The Mansion is at capacity last few games so we had to raise ticket prices a buck. 40K+ squeezed in the games for the weekend series and they got their money's worth.

Hitting was weak but timely this week. Starters played well, but the pen stepped up finally.

Our hero of the week was Troy Saxe that was just claimed off of waivers from Carolina last week. He was steady out of the pen going 5 innings, 0 walks, 5 K's, 1.80 ERA grabbing 2 wins. Thanks squid!

            Pawtucket 7-0.

            Hmmmmm.... welcome to Pawtucket bitches??

Just happy we broke a crazy long streak of sucking on our first Ale run each year.

Pitching was shutdown, the bullpen looks way better then last season. Quinn struggled for the first time this season with all those lefties we faced, but Simmons was brought here to handle that sort of issue.

Javara & Tyler Gerald back, way to come thru backups!!!!!

Big draft coming we need to hit on with no first rounder next season.

Still so much of the season to go, but can say for the first time since maybe 1995, FIRST PLACE PATRIOTS!!!!

Odd side note. Every team at every level in our organization is 10-10. This is where mediocrity lives.

A 3-3 sim. I can live with that.

Considering what Boehmer and Little have been doing for this team, I figured it would be a good idea to throw one-year deals at Loren Washington and Doug Rich. I expect it to blow up in my face, but it's just play money.

More satisfying for me is watching Tamieke, Melgoza, Carter, Daywalt and Gaxiola continue to pitch well in the minors. Waiting for Benge to come back from a short injury.

A 3-3 week for the Brawlers, which sadly is the best week we've had so far.

I now have internet access at my new place so I'm now officially back.

Also, somehow my team is now 11-2. Lots of injuries though.

Well, it wasn't a losing sim.

Looks like our three year run is going to be the end of our brief window.
