We'll be back to our losing ways in no time.

    Maeda-36, Jenkins-35, Chavez-34, Herrera-34, Colon-33, Daly-32.

Even you have to admit that these performances are nothing short of amazing.

We won 90+ last season and missed the playoffs because of a Pancho injury. Yes, Chavez and Maeda are at the tale end of their primes. Jenkins and Colon are good but not setting the world on fire. I think Daly is still in his prime...just feels like he's been around forever.

THe end is coming. No doubt. the end would be here if people traded with me as much as they should. But I think last year was a snowflake not a turning point.

In 4 years im going to have Knudson and 8 Closers.

Pancho may be 34, but dammit if that doesn't stop him from gaining velocity on his fastball though. You can't look at ages when you look at these players, they are ageless.

I wish. He use to be 96-98mph... my scout currently has him at 93-95 and his "actual" may be more like 92-94. If he's still dealing at 38, he's going to have to be a junk-baller.

Wait... who is the biggest criminal in this scenario? Cause Pat and I never trade.

I'd argue that the last few significant trades I've made have benefitted the other teams more than mine:

                  VIRGINIA GETS:
Bayer and Jarava - Both great players with great careers, but I rented Bayer and I got one title out of three tries with Jarava. Plus, couldn't even flip him.

                  BATAVIA GETS:
Jamie Hoffman - Top 20 MIF prospect
Ezequiel Alvarado - Lefthanded starter with heavy (7) control
Dave Willis - May be slightly limited because of Defense, but a legit contact hitter that at worst is a reliable pinch hitter that could give you games at 1B.
                  Two 1st Round Picks

Now, I got a title with Jarava... and that's what I play for... but anyone who thinks that people don't get quality back or get fleeced by me are nuts.

I sent Indy Mal Jackson to rent Manny Mendez. Mal Jackson has been a quality starter for Indy for years now.

                  Woodbury hit in Dallas.

                  Kim was good in Carolina.

Boroquez has been good in Washington.

Poling and O'Hegarty both had nice post-VIR careers.

My only point is that people like to think that I only move garbage or let garbage move.

I'm just saying. I understand that a lot of the root has been not to trade with me as to prevent me from having tools to rebuild with. I'm just saying, more people should worry about their team TODAY... than my team in five years. Come get a piece that can help you.

Not true for some of us, I'd trade more with ya but generally from all your success your player's demand the world salary wise. You demanding the world your just doing your job as an owner so I take no offense by it.

He was going down every year starting in 2000 until the injury last year he's up now reversing the trend. Not sure if I've ever seen that before. It may happen but I'm guessing it's rare.

Down in every year starting in 2000? Wouldn't that be one year? And an injured year at that?

Maybe the drop was a precursor to the injury? I have him as an OSA 7 most of his career with one dip to 6, but that may have been three versions ago.

It also depends when you look. I did SP checking seasons ago and it does change (pitch speed that is) if theyre tired. I found pitchers who were 99-101 that showed as 97-99 if you checked them right after a start.

Happy to have him whatever it is.

Hit well enough and maybe I can trade you to a contender in July.
