NEXT SIM: SUNDAY @ TBD (Files Due at 7a)

    ***

Sunday is Father's Day and I have a 10K at 8a and I'm not sure exactly what the Fam has planned the rest of the day. The SIM will take place on Sunday. Just not 100% positive at the time.

    ***

IMPORTANT NOTE: Sunday's SIM will push us into the Pre-season, the time in which I have to load the new schedule that we agreed on last season. Here's the deal... after some testing with Andrew and Matt... we've found that the new schedule is going to play out at 183 days from Opening Day to Playoffs (assuming no Lonnie Coleman Games which push it to 184 as it's considered part of the regular season).

In order to keep things in order, we're going to have to change our league year setting to 183 days from the 184 where it is set now. Here's the problem, when we make that change, it recalculates the entire league to that setting. For most of the players in the league, this shouldn't matter. However, there MAY be a player or two where these few days (assume about 1 day per professional season) may impact their arbitration/team control years. I think it will only benefit players, but there is a chance it won't.

I'm going to keep a copy of the HTML for reference from the moment before I make the switch over. If you have a player on your team that loses a year of eligibility because of this switch, just let me know and I will fix it in game (I can edit service time).

Again, I don't think it's a huge deal, but something we need to keep an eye on. Let me know if you have questions and I'll answer as best I can.
    The Great One!

    To many rings to count...

        Very excited about the signing.

Needed a lefty in the rotation and I think Warren could have a career year in my park with this defense. 98 MPH? 75% groundball? Six plus pitches? Boom.

          We're all broke.

This signing probably makes Washington the front runner for the IL title, with Windy City not too far behind.

Windy City's kid will need to build some experience pts first, but yes they should be coming. Probably 2003.

Scary to think too that Windy City (#1) and Washington (#4) have pretty deep farm systems to boot.

True, but not sure Washington will be able to put out 4 Aces every sim.

I don't think we're in that conversation yet. .500 is the goal. We lost 116 games last year!

Warren is a major get for DC. The only thing that would scare me is that I hate guys with a PTL (partially torn labrum) and a Dead Arm on their resume. Dude's been healthy for the most part... most of the injuries have been short term. BUT... he's coming off of 246.0 innings REG and PS last year. Unlike Pat, I don't wish injuries on players... but that scares me.

Take that with a heaping pile of salt, because I also was sure Adili wasn't going to stay healthy last year. The Bats clearly have a witch doctor.

I'll be running six and sometimes seven man rotation the whole year. Warren should be ok. But he could get hurt in ST for the season. You never know.

I still got a grip of cash to spend and a lot of the FAs I wanted as secondary options have signed. Might have to get creative.

"Sinclair will be pocketing $8,666,666 per season, an amount some BNN analysts think might be too high."

                            I concur with these analysts.
