1978 BLB All-Star Game

By random drawing, the 1978 BLB All-Star Game venue has been determined. The game will be held on July 11th at Harpoon Park in Hartford, CT - home of the Hartford Whalers.

The Whalers will receive all ticket revenue from the game. (attendance * $10) Further awards will be given to teams for each player representing them in the All-Star game. The amount is yet to be determined by the awards committee.

Future All-star venues will be announced during each off season. The game will alternate between leagues and teams. No team may host twice before all teams have hosted at least once.

I had a friend who always controlled the Whale whenever we played the old NHL games on Sega Genesis. But I think he used them just so he could do his rendition of this song every time he scored.
