  • SIM COMPLETE - 01-02 - OFF-SEASON 1

    NEXT SIM: Saturday

    ***

This is, arguably, the most over looked SIM of the season. Please take care of business.

    You need to....

MAKE ARBITRATION OFFERS - Offer or withdraw must happen this SIM. Remember I double-check your Sandwhich guys. If you don't offer them, you don't have a shot at the pick.

PROTECT RULE V - THIS IS HUGE!!!! If the player has a # next to their name, they are open to be drafted. The only exception is someone on the 60 day disabled list that is STILL HURT. If they are on the DL but not hurt, get 'em off and get them protected.

When you export for this SIM, it's your last chance to protect RULE V guys. Period. No exceptions.

    ***

    God Speed!

His agent was shocked by this development.

I don't understand why Los Lunas released Cavadas?

            He wasn't sandwich eligible?

              His agent should be fired.

He had a team option that I declined. Don't think he's sandwich eligible for that?

Declining a team option and releasing him are different. If you'd just declined, you would have been able to offer him ARB and get a sandwich pick like Washington will with Adili and Washington.

Lesson learned. But I also didn't want to risk him accepting ARB.

I'm hoping he plays for $20M.

I have guys dropping like flies this offseason. First it was Danny Escamilla suffering a 8 month injury even though he hadn't thrown a pitch in a couple of months at the time of the injury (still would like an explanation on that one). Now Pat Simmons hurt himself with his garage door (2 weeks) and Lonnie Fowler fell down some stairs (2 months).

Homes are dangerous. You should have your guys bunk together.

So if Pat doesn't "Pat Option" him and Z signs him this past off-season does Maine go to the championship?
