Congrats to fellow Porter member Delandis on his Brewmaster Cup win!

Sorry Gyro, it was a pleasure all these years.

LOTS of changes coming in California. Out is manager Leo Zimm, out is bench coach Chad Teck. Former BLB catcher Tim Crump will be taking over the Kodiaks manager job after spending the past seven seasons as the manager of our AA team.

Curt Warren voids his last year option, so it looks like we'll also be losing our 2001 ace. Could be a rough stretch in California coming up.

Congrats! I was rooting for Los Lunas for the same reasons everyone else was...but deep down I'm glad the IL has the Cup back!

Like others, a shit ton of changes/decisions in Washington.

This past sim, the Bats released 3B Clarence Wetton, OF Pete Gentry, SS Clint Johnston and RP Manny Mendez. Re-signed RP Don Bolton. This sim, decisions need to be made on the option years for OF Yidir Adili, SP Ivan Bojrquez and CL Clarence Ortiz. Arbitration decisions on a lot of players as well.

Bench coach Tetsuzan Inoue, was let go, despite I'm sure being one of the highest rated bench coaches in the BLB. He wanted twice as much salary as my manager is getting...no thanks. Also let go was former pitcher and current Bats scouting director, Bobby Minnich.

Happy 36th Birthday to Yoritoki Maeda!!!

In June of this coming season, it will mark the 20 year anniversary since we drafted Maeda at the age of 16. Despite never getting Diesel's approval... we're pretty happy with what he's done in Virginia.

Danny is Mr Colonial... but... I didn't draft him. He was Giggas guy. I love him. He was the face of the franchise. But, Maeda was my guy. Come on... 20 years. I slow-cooked him in the minors for parts of 7 seasons. He's my guy.
