Tino Suarez has retired. The one-hit shutout to end the season in Maine was indeed his farewell.

Drinking a little wine for him.

I couldn't change yet, because I wanted Gyro to be able to get in the league file under the circumstances. You'll get control next SIM.

            Two options:

            * Talk with Gyro to have him do the last export for you. The only real action is declining/accepting options (not sure you have any) and making any last minute contract offers to avoid ARB.

            * Ask Gyro for his password and just do it yourself under his sign-on. I'm fine with that for this one SIM.

            You'll get control next SIM.

              Perfect.

              Tino with the perfect timing...

Guzman gives Carolina a bailout retirement...

And Poling... one of my faves... joins Dale O'Hegarty on the course.

                    Congrats to both owners.

Delandis finally gets his. Excellent job, sir. Now you have good things to whisper into your daughter's ear instead of stupid lullabys.

The faster we get through seasons, the less real world years I deal with having no draft value for my losses.

A metric shit ton of option decisions happening in Philly early this offseason. Not surprised Tex Watts declined his player option and is now looking for a lengthy extension. We'll capitulate and probably overpay a little bit just to make sure we get it taken care of.

                            Gyro Signing Off... For Now

                            To my BLB Brothers:

I'm almost embarrassed to say how much I've enjoyed hanging out with a bunch of guys talking about fake statistics for fake baseball players in a fake baseball league. But who am I kidding. We all know we love it.

With your permission I'd like to pop in now and then to see how everyone is carrying on. I'm happy the Furry Pigs will be well cared for. Thank you Spot and Matty for introducing me to online play. Thank you Clay for all the time and effort you put into this (and Andrew before you). As for the rest of you, I hope to find my way back to the BLB as a GM some day, so don't nobody screw this up!

With that, I guess there's just one thing left to say...

Don't worry. We're a one hit wonder if I can't find another good lefty for next season.
