I'm shocked too, honestly. I felt this was my year to get that elusive third title. Improved month after month after month. Kept the old/fragile guys healthy with regular rest and even had the benefit of resting most of my starters the final week. Home field against a lesser (or so I thought) team that we beat more than we lost to in the regular season. Some things you just can't explain.

Congrats to you Linty and good luck the rest of the way. But I'm rooting for the Pigs.

Should be an interesting off-season in Washington. Lot's of questions. Team options on Clarence Ortiz, Clarence Wetton, Yidir Adili and Clint Johnston. Potential FAs in Manny Mendez, Don Bolton, Phil McSwain, Pete Gentry and Loren Washington. That's up to nine players off this teams regular roster. Stay tuned.

Hot Damn! A couple of bats finally came alive, and Ollie Kane returned to form. After being handled by Maine (and Los Angeles) in the regular season, I wasn't very optimistic about our chances. This is the second time we've eliminated a heavily favored Maine Guides team in the playoffs. I guess we like their park.

I hope we give you guys a decent series, Jimmy. For us it's all gravy the rest of the way.

Javelinas are good to go for the next sim.

Obviously i would prefer it if you didn't but you shouldn't worry about that happening. You're still a good GM with a solid team and anything can happen in the playoffs. Good Luck!

It makes losing 100 games easier to swallow.
