FRIDAY - BLB Divisional Series SIM 2 (if necessary)

MONDAY - BLB League Championship Series 2 (if necessary)
    TUESDAY - Brewmaster's Cup 1
    TBD - Brewmaster's Cup 2 (if necessary)

As much as I think the three best teams are in the IL... the DL still feels like a lot more fun this playoff.

Syracuse back for the first time since 1990 (and only the 3rd time ever)...

Gyro taking the Pigs on a final run...

Los Angeles quietly doing what they do with maybe the most complete team in the Domestic...

And Maine comes in with the best record and a shot at a BLB record tieing 7th Brewmaster's Cup....

Not to say the IL isn't interesting, but the DL has better stories this year.

Usually do first round predictions, but this weekend wore me out so here it is:

Washington defeats the Dino's 4-3 in the BLB Cup

      DL Teams:

Like Maine, but Starting Pitchers like Chuck Lindsey generally get shelled come playoff time (Unless my scout is way off on him right now)

Los Lunas always is interesting with the pen they bring with them, but not feeling it with them.

Syrcause, probably the dark horse in this group. Just not sure the pitching is going to hold in 7 game series.

      IL Teams:

Baltimore, blows right thru Carolina but gets out tricked by the greatest GM ever for the IL Flag.

      California, again awesome hitting. Pitching..........

Carolina, well I guess anything can happen. Might win a game.

I'd like to think so... BLB's resident old timer, heading off into the sunset, looking for one last shot at baseball glory.

Did I mention I saved a sack of drowning puppies last week?

The hardest thing about being in the playoffs for the first time in over a decade isn't going to be setting any lineups or anything. It's got to be not checking the website all day so I can watch the games PBP with a beer on Thursday night.

I object to this line of self promoting.
