    NEXT SIM: Tuesday

    ***

Season wraps up on Tuesday. IF there are any Lonnie Coleman games, we'll do them on Wednesday at the latest.

Even if you're out of the playoffs, please keep your ear to the wall as they move pretty quickly these days.

Have a safe holiday weekend!! Jake...enjoy your sausage.... Pat... enjoy your "sausage"....

Davenport pitchers give up 11 hits and still get a 1-0 win over Baltimore but that included getting saved by a third out coming from a runner being hit by a batted ball. Claveau is one of the few bright spots for us this year and he gets the win even after giving up 9 of those hits in 7.1 innings of work.

When we got semi-serious in our trade talks for Pancho and Chavez, you'll remember Claveau was a required piece. Like that guy a lot.

Pepe Rodriguez (SYR) hates Denver as much as the rest of us do.

                5 for 11 - 5 HR - 11 RBI in a three game series.

5-1 sim over Denver and Pawtucky, getting us a three game cushion over Indy.

Just as importantly, after an off week from Pittsburgh, we're theoretically in the WC lead by a game.

Tough week up ahead with 3 vs Dallas (5-10 vs them this year) and the important 4 game set against Indy (7-7).

Pawtucket 2-4 closing out a miserable September.

Quinn still struggling at the plate right now, but showing us quickly he can hit the long ball. Assuming we don't have a full on repeat of injuries next season, Quinn should be better protected.

Some decents bumps on the last scouting report.

As bad as he played the first two months Gaston has a shot at the IL batting title
                          Lowest team ERA since 1985
Four wins this week sets a personal high for me
Joey Hirst struggled in his first 2 BLB appearances, He has been goose eggs since

Guaranteed non-losing season too. Wilmington has only had one of those (81-81) since 1991.

I had an 84-78 record in my 3rd season. But yes feel good season.

Homerun hitters seem to be at a premium. I guess that the BLB has a pretty good hold on the juicers. No one has ever hit 50 correct?
