It does. I used it one year when Maekawa and Kubota got hurt in the very last week before the playoffs.

Yes, it does. In 1999, when Turcotte went down, I promoted William Zimmerman from AA to take his spot. Zimmerman never made it into a game, but he was on the playoff roster without ever playing a game in the BLB that year.

Even at 41 wins I worry if we can catch last years team. Going 0-6 certainly doesn't help.

            Go Tucson!

              DL teams are so lucky.

              They get Denver regularly.

DL teams are lucky because they barely need a BP. We'd like to move.

That is why you aren't in the Bock.

                  You don't deserve the Bock.

That's true, but mostly because no one deserves the Bock.

The cross-state series is final. That was an ass whipping if I've ever had one. At home no less. The bats hit, but just couldn't muscle it out of the park against Cali pitchers. The one player I thought would do well was SP Pete Webster. Coach had enough of him in the 4th with two on, two out, and a tough lefty hitter in Ron Pillsbury at the plate. Tough year for Webster.

We were lucky to sign Saiko Naito to a contract extension. He has been beyond solid in Dusty's absence. We still have some moves to make to get Tucker resigned but we have options. This is an especially tough year for us as a GM, the financials are catching up with us.

Our BP is the only reason we're even in the race.
