BAL and CAL are ridiculous. We've been very pedestrian ever since the Tex Watts injury removed our offensive lynch pin from the lineup. Still happy with the positive season we've had so far, but was hoping to be within at least shouting distance to the end, but alas we've fallen to the wayside and have nothing left in the tank.

                    • 5-1 week pushes us to the top of the DL standings.
                    • Dave Watkins has been killing it since he settled in after getting back from a concussion. He's hitting .402 with a 1.178 OPS in August while continuing to play DWI defense.
                    • Reigning Stout Slugger Lucca Memmoli is heating up too after a slow May and June.
                    • SS Tristan Romarigues went bonkers at the plate en route to winning Player of the Week, hitting over .600 with 6 RBI after I moved him down in the order for the first time this season.
                    • We've had a lot of guys (seven of our nine starting position players) miss significant time with injuries this year, but -- fingers crossed -- everyone is healthy right now.
                    • There's still a lot that can go wrong. We'll see.

Commish To Do... but remember if it's a Minor Leaguer he has to be on Top 100 or on your 40 man roster at the time of the injury.

Oh that sucks. Needy had big league potential. 844/845 by my scout with a 7 fastball and 8 changeup.

They can also make your roster as an injury replacement, regardless of service time.

Do we know that that works in the game? I know it's the rule, but has it been tested?
