??????????????? Not seeing any major injuries from last week?

Anyone ever notice that when you trade for a top player it causes some weird "disruption" to your team??

There's simply no way we make up that deficit against BOTH of those teams. Just being realistic.

We tumble down the standings but our future is bright. We've added quite a few Top 100 prospects, 2 former #1 overalls, and recouped 2 first round picks.

We also cleared MAJOR cap space and reinvested it in scouting and development.

We'll continue to look to get younger.

Some teams find this out in March. Others in August.

              It's a tough life.

Very tough sim against the Bock. For the first time in a very long time the Bandits are sporting a negative PTY Diff.

Carolina may win the race to .500.

I feel good about where we are, both now and in the future.

I don't know if we'll be able to keep up with the youth movements in Hartford, Pittsburgh, and Pawtucket over the next few years, but I think we have enough youth and assets to give us a chance.

Definitely. This was the exact reason I declined a couple deadline trades. Moving players around at different points in the season can really affect your team (good and bad). At least I feel like I've seen it happen a lot over the years.

I traded for 3 very good pitchers with Jistic back in the day and promptly went 0-7 against my own division making us 8 game out of the wildcard. Its funny since this doesnt usually happen in the real world.

The good news....we eventually went on a huge tear and snuck into the wildcard the final week of the season.

Hang in there Brad, 57 games to go!!!!!

Our offense really misses Big Tex Watts though. That injury really hurt. I still feel good about the deal because I really like Soto and he's cheap and controlled for a couple of more seasons. Funny thing is, I pulled the plug on another deal because I didn't want to risk too much chemistry shift for fear of going 0-7.

Shooting for .500 after 3 straight 100 loss seasons.

Very happy with my starting 5. Castillo has been a big surprise. McCarty is pitching like I thought he could when I picked him up from WC. Lombardo still doesn't have a good change up but is pitching well. If he did I would have another Keifer. Can't have enuf of them. O'Reilly even held Morgantown to 1 hit over 8 innings this past week.

T.Brown is not hitting righties which is strange. Just when I thought he was slowing down Gaston went out and won Player of the Month.

Aberdeen is still on pace to win the division in A ball. That would be my first ever division winner at any level. Despite the fact that I have moved several key players up to AA.

I never had a doubt he'd pan out just fine. He's a Playboy pitcher, no worries.
