As usual, mediocre first month from the Storm...ummm I meant the Knights. Some things never change.

Its game 32!!!! Plenty of time.

With that..... The Dino's havent skipped a beat after trading some players away. Torres & Tucker are the key to that team.

2-4, not a disaster and we get good news on the injury front for Alvarez and Jenkin. They'll only miss minimal time (though let me take this time to again say I hate the Pending Diagnosis aspect. It's just not realistic when we don't have the ability to make day-to-day transactions). California is going to run away with the Porter, so it looks like Wild Card or bust for us.

Aren't you the one always telling me its a long season?

3-3 for the week and just a game back of Cali.

Our starters have been absolutely HORRIBLE. We are 1st in K, 2nd in BB but 8th in hits allowed. Definitely a different year.

Oh yea, Pat Marlin is out with a diagnosis pending and when I moved him to DL it said 33 months...:(

                      Not good.

My specific issue is a pending diagnosis that results in a 1 week injury. Great news, but my guy is already on the DL and I lose a week. If I knew it was a one week injury I could make the choice to DL him or carry a 24 man roster during his injury. If we had day-to-day transaction options I would be able to "check with the team doctors" midweek and get a diagnosis. With week long SIMs you have to guess that the injury is going to be longer than a week, which honestly, this was my first encounter with such a scenario. Previously it hasn't mattered because my pending diagnosis injuries always ended up being 2+ week injuries. This time both Alvarez and Jenkin would be eligible to play next week if not for their DL assignment. Oh well.

It is definitely a long season, but CAL is in a class all their own. Oh, and you're 2 games back of Cali, not 1.

Next year can't get here soon enough. Now 2-9 in 1 run games. The good news is we added another top 100 and I know Zamora is close because he pops off and on which would give us 8 hitters and 5 SP's in the top 100. The future is bright, the present is dismal.
