Still looking to move off 1.19. Would rather have players than picks. Looking to improve basically anywhere but the bullpen.

We usually get to the 18th or 19th pick after day one.

Must be a confusing draft to many.

It's a nice tradition we've established whereby the same teams hold up the draft every year. Makes every draft feel like slipping on an old, comfortable pair of shoes.

I made a list and turned my pick to auto for 2.1 because I was afraid of holding people up while I was asleep all day.

            What was I thinking!

I've never seen NY hold up the draft before.

My scout has Villarreal even better than Pat at 67735, but OSA finds him functionally retarded which is why I went D'Orio instead. But, if he hits, Villarreal will be the better player.

Vilarreal was the other player we were gonna take. At 9 we were taking a shot at all or nothing. If we wanted more of a sure thing he would've been it. The catchers scared us off a bit, and with Foglesong only in his rookie year I'll take our chances with him.

Poor good doctor. There is nothing easy about residency...hope he gets a decent player.

If not at least he has the satisfaction of being richer than everyone else in 10 years.

Two auto picks in the first 12 picks. Not sure we've had that before. More evidence that Funclowns idea that we should expand is another well thought out one.

Astimbay was the #2 player on my scout's board. Can't field, can't run, and may always strike out too much, but my scout had him at 6-6-7-7-4 potential.

Wow I didn't even have him on my list. Way to go $15m scouting budget.

Looks like Carlos is rebuilding with some arms!

I spent less than $15M on scouting, so I wouldn't automatically assume that it's your scout that doesn't have a clue.

Nice get by Carlos, grabbing the SP currently experiencing his 3rd minor arm injury.
