This is who I was ready to pick if all my top four were gone.

That being said I got my number four guy in 2B Tyler Wood. He might have the worst intangibles I have ever seen but has great stats and the best hitter (non-international) on my board.

I sent an email when he was at 3.5 hrs clock time remaining . . . but I haven't received a response.

In events like this, instead of autopicking, imho the pick should just be skipped until he shows up and anyone else is free to jump in front in the meantime. Not sure if that's even technically feasible with the draft utility, just throwing it out there.

I think we did that before. But the downside is it will reset his clock to 4 hours again when his pick comes up.

Then again the rules are pretty clear and were even stated in Clay's first post again that it's autopick if you miss. But I got yelled at last time I looked for that to be enforced so I have no idea what will happen. At least I know I have time to get home before my pick is up.

I rarely agree with Jistic, but when I do, it's because he's right. If its a rule, enforce it. If not give the man two days to take his pick.

Well looks like it was autopicked. Now I have a tough decision to make. Gimme a few.

Ok we're taking a swing for the fences with this pick. We're going with Frank Caballero. He's listed as a 2B, but his better position is first which is where we'll play him. I have a feeling my scout is crazy on this one but with a 15 mil scouting budget to play with maybe he's on to something? He thinks Callabero has better potential than any other hitter currently in the league except TJ Knudson. I'm sure he's wrong but even if he's close we'd be happy.

We feel our farm is strong enough that taking a shot at a HR here is worth it. If he becomes a bench player well we still have Frank Zamora coming up next year who is more of a Mark Grace type of 1B. I would kick myself if we didn't take him and he exploded into a stud though. There was one other guy that we're really high on too with a much better basement but hey WTF right? The fact that he's still here scares me a little bit though lol.
