Wow. Usually pretty good about knowing when the next sim is. Explains why I didnt put Pierce & Gonzales in the lineup.(Thought I had more time)

Lol, but it was nice to have back to back sims so I'll take it.

Note: Felt some sadness about the Pat Daniels injury. He's a such a battler.

        Oh the injury bug!

Washington loses starting 2B Jeremiah Kelly for two weeks, which will shelve him until the end of Spring Training. His replacement, utility IF Clint Johnston also got hurt, five weeks, which will put him out for the next month.

Kelly should be healthy by Opening Day but will probably be in a bit of a funk with the time off. With Johnston out a month, infielders Yong-koo Lim and Chad Melson, will battle for the open reserve spot.

Probably the worst ST start we've had in years. Hopefully, no translation to the season. We've missed the injury bug this sim, but still another 2 weeks to go.

I'm intrigued by the play of Rule V pickup, Clarence Lyon. May be a guy to watch for an impact Rule V selection.

Only one bad injury this week. Pitching isn't where I wanted it to be, but that's always been our problem.

I like what a couple of the young guys are doing, especially some that I'm sending back to AAA in this export.

Good to know who I can call on to help if there are any injuries during the season.

                  PAWTUCKET MID-SPRING REPORT

Pawtucket has a ton of people rotating so the sampling size on the O side is a bit small. Some players will be reporting late to camp due to physicals from a trade with Windy City (We worry about HIV from Jistics players)

2B Jarava really shaking the rust off. Lol, yuk.

LF Quinn struggled a bit with his average. 2 hrs.

2B Boyce......get the feeling the light has turned on. Batted .500 with 22 at bats. He is not slated to be up to ne in the BLB this season, but come June we may have to reevaluate if he plays like this in AAA.

SP Tom Vaccarella was failry solid in two starts. Another kid watching closely. Think a bit more cooking is in order, but come June???

Setup Glen 'Coffin' Harrington one walk and 17 stikeouts. Gonna be a nice finally having a decent lefty in the pen.

Couple of battles to be decided:

#4,#5, (#6?) Role: Apracio continue his strong starts from the end of last season/ Melendez & Vazquez seems to be a battle for who doesn't want it more. If we decided today say Melendez gets the nod with Vazquez sharing LR with lefty Esterson.

Center field: Ok here i just want good defense. Stucker just seems to fit here, but willing to let Jordan G or Ron Adams grab the role. One of these kids will not be on the 25 man roster come opening day.
