    NEXT SIM: Thursday

    ***

    Schedules:
Ok, I forced a change in our rotation for this year and it appears that you SHOULD play different INTERLEAGUE games this time through. Take a look and tell me if I'm wrong.

I took the two schedules that Matt put in his thread and tested them. Takes some work, but I CAN make them fit our league. I didn't want to just plug them in without a complete discussion with the league. If someone wants to put it to a vote, my suggestion would be we test one of them in 2002 and the other in 2003. Then, after that, we see how we want to proceed.

    ***

Anyway... Preseason is upon us. Ammy Draft has been scheduled for June 10th, so we'll start the draft pretty much immediately after the season starts.

    ***

Next SIM goes all the way to ST, so make sure your DFA is maintained.
    The Great One!

    To many rings to count...

                Dude.

We still lose to a Stout team.

Yeah. But. I'm used to that by now.

Moved up the organizational Top Systems list. Have $29m for FA (if I wanted it) and $50m for extensions and can finally put money into development and scouting like I needed.

Signed Lawson for a million to play CF as a stopgap. I also got Canudo who my scout still likes for a measly 3m to play C with Roes.

Utility still has us winning 87 games - this won't happen without another major move for the now. The lefty Marrero (who is very much available) cracked the Top 20 Pitchers list at 28 with a salary of about ~3.5m per over the next 5yrs.

Neal, fresh off the DL is still at #12. Costa finally cracks the Top 100 as a CF and not a SP. Dodd is at #53. McGuire, the heir to Chuck Durham acquired last season, holds steady at #11.

I say we're in much better shape than 12 hours ago. We're still talking trade for anyone late to the party. I can take back contracts in a big deal or just as a salary dump for picks/prospects.

I'm on break from school so I'm around for wheeling and dealing.

There are a ton of solid Free-Agents available that have just lowered their demands as we approach Spring Training. There are a lot of teams out there with lots of budget room.

                          Go sign these good players.

I don't like to push myself that close to the budget.
