While I'm at it, can I complain about OOTP 12 a little? I firmly believe control is broken in this game. It's too slow to develop and too quick to lose potential.
Dusty Reber was 6-5-6 for years. Dropped to 6-5-5 in AAA and I knew then he was going to end up 6-5-4. It's just how it goes. Manny Rivera went from 7-5-5 to 7-5-3 without ever leaving AAA. Travis Skinner was 5-6-7 for a long while and now he's stuck on 5-6-5 for the last two years. He'll never fill out. I can give a laundry list of pitchers who never even come close to developing their control potential whether they're babied, rushed, pushed along at a decent pace, etc.
The main issue IMO is that Stuff and movement develop so much more properly that you either have to stunt their development by leaving them down a level to try and develop control, or stunt their control development by moving them up because they're dominating wherever they are with their BLB ready stuff and movement ratings.
Robby Aten has been 6-6-6 potential forever but now just dropped to 6-6-5 potential, 6-6-4 current. I'm 99% sure he'll be 6-6-4 forever.
Anyways, it's by far my biggest issue with OOTP 12. Maybe it's the same moving forward but I think it's broken.
You say this and then say I broke Mueller. Makes no sense.
Mueller is a 3/4 in control. His struggles have nothing to do with playing in the BLB and everything to do with his talent. He's just not that good.
Perhaps I should have just sat him in AAA till he was 30-years-old, praying and hoping he would develop his control. Anyone that pays attention knows control is tough in this game.
I took a chance to see if he could succeed being a 573. He can't. But getting to 574 isn't gonna make much a difference especially when I guarantee that 3 is a high 3.
Mueller is ruined because Mueller was a bad draft pick. Remind me the next time everyone lands on their picks.
I think it's fair to say I keep things interesting. I'm cool with it.
I may sound bitchy but I'm not trying to bitch. I'm telling people how it is because they thought they could tell me how it is.
Doesn't work that way.

I know. You know what I really can't stand.....I hate when people try to tell you that you overpaid for a defensive infielder right before the playoffs. Going around in other people's trade threads, trying to tell people how it is.

I can't stand those types.
I was waiting for that. We are even. I know I was wrong for that and I told you.
Whoooa, lets slow down. I'm not in love with my team. We aren't winning any championships anytime soon. I'm pretty sure I've said we aren't even thinking about a chance to even dream of competing until 2010. That's a long time but I screwed this franchise up bad. I know that.
I'm just saying that I know exactly why I signed the guys I signed. Not everything is about batting .300 or hitting 30 home runs. If that was the case, I would have thrown $25 MM at Adil and called it a day.

By being in love with your team I only mean you're running them the way you want to.
