Saucido finishes batting .294. Slap hitter so won't end up being a NewBrew winner, but hoping he does get some votes.
Overlooked offseason trade: If Indy doesn't trade Shumway to Maine does Indy make the playoffs and Maine ends up staying home? iMO, this trade altered to landscape in the DL this season.
Congrats Jim. You brought it all season long. Good luck the rest of the way.

Washington Bats (110-52; 1st Place in Stout)
2-1 @ Virginia
4-0 @ Morgantown
Sorry Clay....Hell of a week for Washington. Finishing the year on a six game winning streak is nice. Especially considering how many guys were resting. Here ya go Plastic!
Best Game: After losing the first game of the series to Virginia, Washington came out red hot with the Bats scoring seven runs in the first off Gene Legere. The Bats would go on to win 9-0.
Worst Game: Lost the first game of the week 1-5 after SP Troy Hanback got roughed up early.
The Good
-No injuries! I was worried that I was going to lose a key component for the playoff run this week in meaningless games. Sorry to Jim. That sucks dude. Hopefully you can make a run a get him in a later series.
-I have three "Hot" bats going into the playoffs with 1B Nari Garin, C Mal Brady and OF Gene Roberson. And three "Hot" pitchers with SP Travis DuFour, MR Willie Watkins and SP Tom Downs. Oh, and no one "Not."
The Bad
-This again, like I have before in this section, nitpicking. But I really don't know who to throw in the rotation. Hanback and DuFour are the clear no brainers but I then I have four guys who are "worthy" of starting in the playoffs. I'm only going to go four-man rotation...not six.
The Week Ahead
-The match-ups are still undecided. Good luck to LAD, NO, VIR and BAL!Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
Washington Bats - 1979-2013
