              Mel Woodbury.
              Dani Alvarez.
              Leonel Tesina.
              Kyoden Kubota.

Jose Guzman is 98 Carolina hits away from joining the above list of men that have amassed 1,000 hits with more than one organization.

Interesting fact. Despite having 2,808 hits (7th All-time) Johnny Buzzell - he of the 11 organizations through his 20-year career - never collected 1,000 hits with any one team.

My BP has been bad at times this year. Most of our losses have come from players who are having career worst seasons. Fukuda, Gallo, Claudio, Holman (before he got traded), Hebert (before I sent him down), have been awful this year. Even Beniquez is getting worked over. Now its the starters turn? We have a bipolar NO team on our heels and I have no real answers to questions that started in April. But we are in first place. Hurray. Time to make some more adjustments I guess.

MR Pancho Valentine was our gem this week. He was absolutely filthy in his return from BLB exile.

4-2 against the Pilsner with series wins against both Indy and Dallas. Curt Dodson goes down with a hamstring injury for a few weeks. Not a huge deal as Robby Bowen can step back into the starting lineup for now.
