Don't look now Matt, but Kenner may have actually had some talent.

He's on the waiver wire with Rivera and Yeandle as we speak.

I wonder how long will three-man Bullpen would last.

You aren't too crazy. I had a PM all typed up a few days ago ready to send to Carolina to try to bring Guzman back. Then I took a look at his contract. I can handle one year, but if I remember right, he has like 2-3 more years left at a crazy high salary. Guzman must have Boras as an agent.

6-1 sim. There is life in our bats! Dusty Simmons is apparently having a competition with Dusty Campbell as to who is the real Dusty. Both have been red hot since we got Campbell from Miss. I almost sent young Seth Walters down this last week to get a refresher in the aspects of hitting. Then he goes and has a 4 HR week (one inside the park so that one gets an *). The kid leads the team in HRs and RBI's and has some speed to boot.

Our main weakness right now is the MR group. Claudio, Gallo, Fukuda, hell, anyone we put there just has terrible stats. We signed newly acquired MR Jeremiah Hebert to a new contract and he lowered his weekly ERA from 12 to 9! Luckily Beniquez has been SOLID at CL and McKormick is setting him up like a king.

Quietly we are tied for first in the DL. With 20 games more played on the road vs. home, I like our chances for the playoffs.

Guzman hangs them up this off-season IMO

Too much of a risk, IMO.
