Gem of the Week: All-Star starting pitcher snub Derek Vluege,l plays center field following an injury to starting CF,Ernie Bornstein. In his only AB of the game, Vluegel hits a two run bomb in the 15th to break the tie and eventually win the game.

Derek is now batting .344 on the year.

Take that All-Star voters.

I think in the future the way to go may be to run the ASG at the end of the previous SIM.... end that SIM before the 1st post ASG game... then run a 10 day SIM the following.

And both on defensive plays.... someone blew an elbow. OF's (especially CF) who get hurt in the field don't usually end well.
