SIM COMPLETE - 2000 - SIM 11

Costly 4-2 sim, albeit with 2 of 3 over New Orleans which is nice to see. 4 games over .500.

But, like I said, costly, as we lose rookie pitcher Dusty Reber for 3 months to a ruptured finger tendon. He's been really, really solid for us this year. 5-3 with a 1.16 WHIP. More importantly than losing him for the summer is my worry that this will wreck him. Here's to hoping.

Also lost another SP Alex Crispin to diagnosis pending. He's struggled so not a huge loss, but, would rather not have to find two new BLB SP's in my system.

Ruben Luna has a nice week - including a 5 hit game that made the news reel.

Big Jon is a 3 game HR streak, Pierce continues to chug along, and the rest of the staff were solid this week. Oscar Vargas is making some noise in the SS slot as well.

All in all a logic defying 2 games out of first place.

Carr debuts at #14. Not holding my breath. He did batter .333 in his first week.

Simmons 2.4 also cracked the top 100 and had a solid 8 inn 1 r debut
