I look at everything as well, including park factors and defense for hitters.

For example: I voted for Tom Swanson as one of the three outfielders. The numbers he's putting up in that park and that lineup is pretty unreal. While Daly, Fuji and Marlin benefit greatly from their situation.

I'm surprised Vleugel hasn't gotten more votes. He's put up some pretty good numbers in a park designed for lefties. And I'm not just saying that because he's my guy.

Is WHIP then ERA not a good match? I admit I don't know a lot about baseball stats. I've learned a lot just from OOTP.
Honesty, I don't care what other people say is more important. What's most important to you is what matters.

        It's your vote.

I'm not surprised but I gave him a vote. He's been really good this year.

Seeing more of my one-time minor league prospects getting votes in the DL.

My team may not be able to show it now, but damn, I drafted and developed well. I'm an idiot.

As good as Katsura has been, my first vote would go to Vleugel. His control is pretty decent this year and he sits down A LOT of batters. Now if he would just accept a reasonable contract extension.......

I'd love to know what situation Fujii is supposedly greatly benefiting from.

A lineup full of elite hitters?

Ask Hector Coronel if it makes a difference.

It impacts Runs and RBI, but how would it impact any other stat?

It could impact other stats if those elite hitters are beating on starters, making them throw more pitches (which only spells more disaster) and forcing opposing teams to turn to the less elite relievers sooner rather than later.

                        A) I don't think it has the same impact in the game as it does in real life

                        B) I'd argue (on the whole) there are more elite relievers in this league than starters.

I'll write a book on it.

Wait, so are you saying that a hitter who is say (6-6-6-6-6) wouldn't hit any worse in a lineup of (2-2-2-2-2)'s instead of all (6-6-6-6-6)'s?

So now you want to punish hitters for playing in a well constructed lineup?

I think a hitter may have some superior numbers in a better lineup, but I don't think the dicerolls would be significantly different enough to actually factor the quality of one's season by.
