Jesus, I've taken the Tobs and just shat all over them.
And we thank you and Clay for it.
Big Jon got the dreaded "pending diagnosis" I'm awaiting a 9 month injury with ensuing ratings drop.
We went 5-1 and back to .500 witha team that can't hit out of a wet paper bag.
DeWitt Pierce is off to a great start though. Really maturing into a rock of this pitching staff, and still available if anybody would like to improve their staff.

You'll come around. You're still hitting.
Pitching is thin right now and you aren't helping yourself defensively... but patience will be your best friend. You'll win that division if you don't over correct.
As for as pitching, like to see us cut down on all these dam walks. Overall though happy with the way Andy M. Oscar V and even Ivan Vazquez are performing.
Some youth in place. Just not enough right now.

2-0 @ Wilmington 1-1 @ Virginia 2-1 vs. Davenport
In the two games we lost this week, we scored zero runs. Tough to win when you don't score at all.
The Good
-A first-round pick in 1993, Nari Garin has finally arrived. International, Italian, 18-years-old, was a bit of a surprise pick so long ago. In his third BLB stint, now 25 years old, the first baseman is hitting lead-off for the Bats and has done very well. Now hitting .271/.386/.486/.871, 143 OPS+.
-Another youngster doing very well is Refreshing New Brew Runner-Up Heishu Shiraishi. Now hitting .394, tied for the IL lead, with a 1.001 OPS. He's also now back on the top players list at #18.
The Bad
-For the second week in a row, the the CPU has decided to play a RP at SP. It might be a mistake on my end with the seven day lineup, but it still sucks.
The Ugly
-After starting the week out 3-0, the Colonials beat the Bats 10-0. Sure, getting shutout is embarrassing. So is giving up 10 runs. What's even worse, is the Colonials scored at least one run in six of the eight innings they hit.
The Farm
-The Washington Bats are now up to #3 on the Top System's list. Including four of the top 24 prospects in baseball. Combine that with the addition of two firsts, two seconds and three thirds in this years draft. This is a system on the rise.
The Week Ahead
-Day off, three vs. Baltimore, three @ Philly. A good test this week yet again. My team is playing well, healthy and ready to make a statement. I think we win both series, 2-1.
