RP Manny Casillas - Called up at least one season before I wanted, due to Crackpot's injury. Settled in nicely as the setup reliever, but will probably go back to middle relief when we have a legit closer again. 1.29/1.00/.125 in 8 appearances thus far. My scout isn't very high on him, but so far I have no complaints with the '94 3.15 pick out of Doniphan, MO highschool.

Tyler McLouth - 3B
Drafted 2.3 in 1995
38th overall prospect will follow B.J. Jobe by making his debut this week. Originally drafted by Wilmington and then traded for three third round picks, in which I received a ton of backlash from the league. Those three players ended up all making it to the BLB and are all currently on the Blue Wave roster. SS Dusty Omohundro, C Shane Gallahue and RF Pat Wilson.
No flack here , Glad to see he made it. I was hoping one of the three listed would have made an impact. Gallahue is a solid catcher, Omohundro great defensive player and Wilson is an underachiever.BLB- Seattle Reign

SP Javier Garcia
He was drafted in the 10th round of the 1991 draft by Pittsburgh. I acquired him in 1995 in exchange for MR Gene Haynes from Pawtucket. I basically hit the reset switch on him as I thought he had been rushed a bit. I sent him back to AA for a couple of years and he's been in Mobile for the past three years. This season the 27 year old Garcia is pitching to a 1.11 WHIP with 119 Ks to only 15 walks in 135 innings. After 10 years in the minors, Garcia will finally make it to the show. It's unfortunate that I'm tearing up the nasty combination of him and one of my top prospects (SP Danny Ventura) at AAA though.Last edited by Spectre; 02-20-2013, 01:17 AM.

Robby Culler - CF
.310/.387/.472/.856, 62 XBH
Culler, 22, fresh off winning Player of the Year in A ball in 1999, hit the ground running in 2000 in AA ball hitting .336/.422/.504/.926 in 147 PA's before being promoted to AAA where he continued his hot hitting with a .302/.371/.461/.832 line in 416 PA's. Never a fan of jumping from A ball to BLB in less than a year but Culler has proven himself in 2000.
He'll be taking the spot of injured backup OF'er Zuo-qian Zhang who was recently placed on the 15 day DL.

Dave Miller - LF
.315/.403/.462/.865 - #100 prospect
Miller, 23, will miss the Triple-A Championship game to play for a suddenly thin Washington outfield. The trade of Shawn Burton combined with the injury of Miguel Angel Monchez and Heishu Shiraishi (just this week), forces Miller not only up but into the starting lineup.
Yes, this is the same guy that played for Jake's fake fantasy vs. Denver team. A 4th round pick of Dallas in 1995 and released and then signed by D.C. one year later. He's a terrible corner outfielder defensively but the lefty has swung a very good bat the past three seasons. He expects to be playing in the majors.
His .315 average is 3rd in the BCC of Triple-A. OBP 5th, OPS 3rd, 2nd in VORP, 2nd in RC/27, 4th in RBI. He also has 10 steals on the year. On May 20th, he had his first career injury.
