You just ran into a buzzsaw. Los Angeles is a ridiculously good team that nobody talks about. They're probably the best team 1 through 25 in the playoffs.

Yeah, we seem to run into plenty of buzzsaws - Dimmick, You, Dave's uninjured juggernaut last season. We were never the buzzsaw - more like a hand axe every single season. 5 straight playoff appearances though, after inheriting one of the worst teams in the BLB, is an accomplishment I'm proud of. It'll take a lot of tape and bandaids to make it 6 though. Might be time to regroup and avoid a complete crash down rebuild. Luckily I still have almost every future pick and still have some players who are young enough to be part of a second run.

A 17 inning 1 run loss in Game 1 pretty much sums up our entire playoff resume for the last 5 seasons. We just never got the right bounces.

I can't complain with how the first 5 have gone thus far, with the exception of the first game. Not sure what happened to Morgan, but he came back strong in game 5, so that was nice to see.

He won't pitch again this series, so it's up to the others. We'll see.

Happy the win my series. Expected a win. Didn't expect a sweep. Knew it would be close games. When you only have to use 3 starters and you're best two relievers in a series, you got a nice roll. My bullpen will kill me at some point. Just didn't happen this series.

At some point its no longer dice rolls as I have finally come to the realization that we just aren't very good.

We made it past the first round! Hats off to Hartford, that first game was ridiculous. The pitching literally put Dusty Simmons on a cold streak. All the guys I thought would hit well, didn't. Overall the hitting was poor, but that was to be expected going against a solid rotation.

Predictably when you lose your top two hitters, your offense struggles. What a lame way to go out.
