Great hitters for sure...no pitching. That's history.

But hey, we stay the course. I'm sure Rex really tilted the tables for you though. The Dino's and Indy must be very scared right now.

10 years sound good? Rex was a great get. We'll shoot for 6 playoff appearances in a row and 5 out of 6 Ale titles after taking over a 60 win team. Quiet Clay and Pat.

Nice job killing Ole Mens career by the way. Well done!

I asked myself: Would he be better off starting for a mediocre team or playing for funclown?

There was no right answer so I took the prospect and the pick.

He can sit in the clubhouse with Rod Phillips, Robert Abbott and the other Raul Gonzalez and think to himself, "these guys are getting paid a lot more than me at this retirement community. Ah, what could have been. I hope Funclown flips me for something shiny at the deadline..."

If history is any indication, I'll send three first round picks to reacquire him in July.

Yeah Rod and Abbot just tip they're caps in beginning of each game for the fans and play blah baseball. Luckily they (and a few others) will have option years in 2001. Money isnt an issue right now in Pawtucket.

Ole Mens luckily has a few years to go on his contract.
