A shockingly good year for the Kodiaks. Thankfully we have a lot of good candidates for awards. Here are the guys I feel are the most deserving of consideration.

      Sebastian Turcotte - Stout Slugger

      #1 - RBI
      #1 - SLG
      #2 - OPS
      #2 - wOBA
      #2 - AVG
      #2 - TB
      #3 - WAR
      #3 - H
      #3 - HR
      #4 - OBP

      Sonny Marshburn - Stout Slugger

      #1 - HR
      #1 - OBP
      #1 - OPS
      #1 - wOBA
      #1 - ISO
      #2 - WAR
      #2 - SLG
      #3 - BB
      #5 - R

If you have to choose between the two, I think Turcotte probably deserves it more.

      Kokoro Fujii - New Brew

      #1 - 3B
      #1 - SB
      #2 - AVG
      #2 - OBP
      #2 - OPS
      #2 - wOBA
      #2 - RBI
      #2 - R
      #2 - BB
      #3 - SLG
      #3 - WAR
      #3 - H
      #3 - ISO
      #3 - TB

      Curt Warren - Pale Ale

      #3 - WAR
      #5 - ERA
      #5 - HR/9
      #6 - W
      #6 - FIP

      Robert Menendez - Last Call

Not a big deal. He's not going to win it anyways... but it'd be nice to see him get a few votes.

Couple folks I need to pimp

Norm Sutton for Pale Ale- dude has been ridiculous this year, leads the DL in wins and has walked less than 20 guys all year. He has a WHIP of 0.88 this year which is far and away the best in the league.

Nate Cox for Last Call- has been the most dominant relief pitcher over 100 innings this year. He went back to the setup role after Lozano returned from injury so doesn't have huge save numbers but numbers wise, he's the best in the league out of the pen.

Deron Ryan has had a fabulous year but he's below Sutton by a fair margin on my squad.

Sutton should be a slam dunk, I'm intrigued by the early votes.

If Sutton doesn't win, I demand a recount.

99 wins and yet no one is really good enough to win an award.

                  Dusty Simmons- Stout Slugger

His blend of speed and power is pretty rare in the BLB. Which explains him leading the DL in the WAR rating. If speed has no bearing on voting, then ignore him. If it does, then take a look at his Runs and SB's. He lead the league in XBH which explains his #2 ISO. Maybe his AVG is a little lower than other favorites. But his HR's are right there and so are the RBI's. Vote Dusty!
